Alverca would like to continue to count on Custódio for the 2026/27 season, given the success of the current season and having achieved maintenance three games from the end. However, the club is aware that, soon, proposals may arrive that will lead to a farewell between the two parties. Custódio's agency is already exploring different options on the table - Custódio Castro, who recently passed to be represented by Frank Trimboli, of Base Soccer. When he arrived in Ribatejo, Custódio signed until June 2026, but the link has already been extended for another year, until 2027, because it included an automatic renewal clause if the coach guaranteed the team's permanence in the top league. Alverca is aware that Custódio's continuation is not guaranteed and that the club may have to pay the value of the termination clause if the coach decides to leave the club. Custódio has a contract until 2027 and Alverca would like to continue to count on him for the 2026/27 season.
