Alverca's União de Leiria will host Marítimo, the leader of the II Liga, at home on Sunday, due to the damage at Leiria's Estádio Magalhães Pessoa, caused by the depression Kristin. The Portuguese Football League (LPFP) announced that it accepted the request for change presented by the Leiria club, which is fifth in the standings with 38 points, with a postponed match. The request was made "due to the ongoing interventions at the Estádio dr. Magalhães Pessoa" in Leiria, "resulting from the damage caused by the depression Kristin. The Leiria team requested the match against Marítimo, the current leader of the II Liga, with 50 points, at the Estádio do Alverca, in Alverca do Ribatejo, which was accepted by the LPFP executive after "the prerequisites for the approval of the requested were verified". It will be the third round in which the Leiria team will play at home, after the Estádio Municipal dr. Magalhães Pessoa was severely damaged, following the depression Kristin, on January 28 this year. In the previous two rounds, the team led by Fábio Pereira drew (2-2) with FC Porto B at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota, in Estoril, and won (1-0) against Portimonense at the Estádio José Gomes, in Amadora.
